Fall in love with me

I dare you to fall in love with me...

Fall in love with my soul.

Not my skin,

But for who I am within,

Not my smile,

But the joy I get from living,

Not my body,

But the way I use it to express my mind,

Not clothes that I can fit into,

But how I wear clothes that suit who I am,

Not my silence in the face of conflict,

But the words carefully chosen after fully listening,

Not my sensitivity and my tears

But my acceptance of all human emotions,

Not my patience and kind actions,

But my ability to see people's needs that others ignore,

Not my love for anime, fantasy books, fairies and dragons,

But my appreciation of art and the stretches of human imagination,

Not my absentminded daydreaming expression,

But the way I lose all sense of time in the face of everyday beauty...

Fall in love with my features first if you must, but know that are all but echoes of the truth of my thoughts and feelings within me. 

Love me for me; the deep meaning beyond the version of me everyone else thinks they already know.
