A night to remember

Oh how I have missed the beauty of nature,
The riches of the midnight blue,
The contrast of the pink rose hue,
And so it is I am guided by it's incandescent lure...

The piercing silence that breaks the noise,
The last of the day has left our sight,
The waltz of the flowers fades at night,
The beauty of light and dark that gives it its poise.

The humming of a moth that quests for the moon,
The cold hand of frost that brushes,
The autumn sweet breeze that hushes,
The hedgehog's shuffle that plays the saddest tune.

The sweetness of night,
The bitterness of the bite,
The shadows that fright,
The stars that sprinkle light,
The creatures that fight,
The moon glows dim then bright.
The charm of day in clear foresight.
